Meanwhile, CLS successively won bids for terminal information display device programmes of Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. CLS has become a leading Sports Lottery terminal supplier in China.

The Cambodian Welfare Lottery instant scratch card logistics management and prize claim system, developed by CLS and Cambodia¡¯s Khmer Pool Welfare Lottery Co.,Ltd., has been successfully launched.

A subsidiary of CLS has successively won bids for Gansu, Shaanxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Guangxi and Zhejiang province¡¯s Sports Lottery CTG terminal procurement programmes. CLS claimed 30% market share of the total Sports Lottery terminal procurement volume nationwide, and retained its top supplier position in 2015.

Hongze Lake Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tencent, entered into a Share Subscription Agreement with China LotSynergy. Tencent became China LotSynergy¡¯s second largest shareholder.

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy signed the relevant contract with Shanghai Welfare Lottery Issuance Centre to supply comprehensive lottery system technical services. This 7-year contract covers the core technical hardware platform, applied management systems, terminal products and other relevant services.

The breakthroughs achieved in the Sports Lottery terminal market represent the initial realization of China LotSynergy's strategy of expanding into the China Sports Lottery market.

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy entered into a cooperation agreement with SPD Bank to launch telephone lottery sales services for the bank¡¯s mobile banking users.

Having satisfied the requirement of three consecutive years of profits, along with other relevant requirements, China LotSynergy became the first lottery company to receive approval from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited to be transferred from the GEM to the Main Board (1371.HK), with its board lot changed from 4,000 shares to 20,000 shares.

December 2012

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy completed the CTG betting terminal selection process organized by the Sports Lottery Centre of the General Administration of Sports. All three submitted models (including standard, economy and portable type models) have been included in the terminal purchase catalogue. The company is now an approved supplier of CTG terminals for Sports Lottery nationwide.

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy won a public tender held by the Chongqing Welfare Lottery Centre for the provision of CTG betting terminals and technical services. The Company will supply CTG terminals together with the relevant system and technical services to Chongqing Welfare Lottery Centre throughout the 5 year term of the contract.

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy entered into a cooperation agreement with the China Merchants Bank to provide lottery services to the bank¡¯s mobile banking users nationwide.

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy entered into a cooperation agreement with China Telecom Surfing Electronic Commerce Limited on lottery payment through Best Pay. By then, CLS had become the only lottery company in close cooperation with all three telecom operators including China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom on a nationwide basis.

The KENO business underwent a restructuring with the full support of CWLC. CLS-GTECH Company Limited was formed, a 50/50 joint venture with GTECH.

China LotSynergy completed the acquisition of 80% equity interest in CMIL Group. CMIL Group is based in Guangdong, the leading provincial welfare lottery market in China. It is principally engaged in the research and development, manufacture, supply and maintenance of CTG systems and terminals. It holds a number of related patents and Intellectual Properties. Through this transaction, China LotSynergy has further expanded its business beyond VLT and KENO to include CTG lottery, thereby expanding its market share in the China lottery market.

With IGT¡¯s leading position in the global lottery industry and CLS¡¯s comprehensive capabilities in the China lottery industry, CLS and IGT formed a strategic alliance bringing together their competitive strengths to explore development opportunities in the China lottery market.

April 2006

CLS completed the acquisition of 50% interest and assumed controlling position in the board of directors of the company exclusively supplying VLT equipment to Welfare Lottery nationwide under a long-term contract.

Early 2005

China LotSynergy and Tabcorp, a leading lottery and entertainment group in Australia, formed a joint venture - Tabcorp International Hong Kong Limited. In July, China LotSynergy entered into a technical cooperation agreement with Beijing Lottery Online Technology Co., Ltd to build and develop the first nationwide unified platform for the lottery operations of China Welfare Lottery Centre in China, which subsequently obtained a nationwide and exclusive contract from China Welfare Lottery Centre to provide KENO system, games, terminals and related technology services.

Late 2004

CLS successfully implemented its transformation to become the first Hong Kong listed company to participate in the public welfare lottery business in China, thereby establishing the lottery segment for the China lottery industry in Hong Kong.

October 2001

CLS was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 8161) to be engaged in the business of provision of an Internet platform to facilitate online transactions of metals.
