As learnt from the China Welfare Lottery Centre, RMB80 billion worth of Welfare Lotteries have already been sold in China this year up to 9 November, representing an increase of RMB16.6 billion, or 26%, as compared with the same period of last year. They have contributed a recording breaking over RMB25 billion welfare funds to the state government.

 

The constituents of the sales are over RMB60.7 billion Welfare computer ticket games (up 11.26% than last year), over RMB11.6 billion Welfare instant scratch cards (up nearly 50%), as well as RMB7.7 billion Video Lottery due to strengthened management and enhanced measures.

 

According to the latest statistics published, the total sales of all Welfare lotteries up to 17 November have already outperformed the whole of last year to reach over RMB82.3 billion. Such steady and rapid growth is achieved by the concerted efforts of the entire Welfare system.
