For September 2011, total lottery sales recorded a growth of 41% YOY to RMB 19.64 billion YOY (September 2010: RMB 13.95 billion).Please refer to the attachment for breakdown.

For Jan to September 2011, total lottery sales recorded a growth of 34% YOY to RMB 157.77 billion YOY (Jan to September 2010: RMB 118.04 billion).Please refer to the attachment for breakdown.

The lottery sales data reveals:

I. WELFARE LOTTERY

For September 2011, Welfare Lottery accounted for about 55.35% (RMB 10.87 billion) of total lottery sales for the month, up 35% YOY. Lotto games accounted for about 71.11% of total welfare lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 15.18%, and VLT of about 13.71%.

For Jan to September 2011, Welfare Lottery accounted for about 58.17% (RMB 91.77 billion) of total lottery sales for the period, up 34% YOY. Lotto games accounted for about 70.36% of total welfare lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 16.25%, and VLT of about 13.39%.

a. Welfare Lotto

For September 2011, Welfare Lotto sales were RMB7.73 billion, up 29% YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, Welfare Lotto sales were RMB 64.57 billion, up 23% YOY.

b. Welfare Instant Scratch Cards

For September 2011, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 1.65 billion, up 38% YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 14.91 billion, up 48% YOY.

c. Video Lottery

For September 2011, VLT sales were 1.49 billion, up 71% YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, VLT sales reached RMB 12.29 billion, up 104% YOY. Strong growth momentum is maintained following the launch of new games across the nation since late 2009.

II. SPORTS LOTTERY

For September 2011, Sports Lottery accounted for about 44.65% (RMB 8.77 billion) of total lottery sales for the month. Lotto accounted for about 54.28% of total Sports Lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 20.41%, and Single Match Game of about 25.31%.

For Jan to September 2011, Sports Lottery accounted for about 41.83% (RMB 66 billion) of total lottery sales for the period. Lotto accounted for about 53.98% of total Sports Lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 22.27 %, and Single Match Game of about 23.74%.

a. Sports Lotto

For September 2011, Sports Lotto sales is approximately RMB 4.76 billion, up 58% YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, Sports Lotto sales increased by 28% YOY to approximately RMB 35.63 billion.

b. Sports Instant Scratch Cards

For September 2011, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 1.79 billion, up 30 % YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 14.70 billion, up 24% YOY.

c. Single Match Game

For September 2011, Sports Single Match Game Sales were RMB 2.22 billion, up 50 % YOY.

For Jan to September 2011, Sports Single Match Game Sales were RMB 15.67 billion, up 65% YOY due to nationwide rollout since December 2009.
