For November 2011, total lottery sales recorded a growth of 31% YOY to RMB 21.01 billion YOY (November 2010: RMB 16.02 billion). Please refer to the attachment for breakdown.

For Jan to November 2011, total lottery sales recorded a growth of 34% YOY to RMB 199.10 billion YOY (Jan to November 2010: RMB 149.06 billion). Please refer to the attachment for breakdown.

The lottery sales data reveals:

I. WELFARE LOTTERY

For November 2011, Welfare Lottery accounted for about 56.45% (RMB 11.86 billion) of total lottery sales for the month, up 29% YOY. Lotto games accounted for about 72.93% of total welfare lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 14.08%, and VLT of about 12.98%.

For Jan to November 2011, Welfare Lottery accounted for about 57.72% (RMB 114.93 billion) of total lottery sales for the period, up 33% YOY. Lotto games accounted for about 70.86% of total welfare lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 15.79%, and VLT of about 13.35%.

a. Welfare Lotto

For November 2011, Welfare Lotto sales were RMB8.65 billion, up 29% YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, Welfare Lotto sales were RMB 81.44 billion, up 24% YOY.

b. Welfare Instant Scratch Cards

For November 2011, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 1.67 billion, up 18% YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 18.15 billion, up 43% YOY.

c. Video Lottery

For November 2011, VLT sales were 1.54 billion, up 44% YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, VLT sales reached RMB 15.34 billion, up 90% YOY. Strong growth momentum is maintained following the launch of new games across the nation since late 2009.

II. SPORTS LOTTERY

For November 2011, Sports Lottery accounted for about 43.55% (RMB 9.15 billion) of total lottery sales for the month. Lotto accounted for about 59.34% of total Sports Lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 18.80%, and Single Match Game of about 21.86%.

For Jan to November 2011, Sports Lottery accounted for about 42.28% (RMB 84.17 billion) of total lottery sales for the period. Lotto accounted for about 55.00% of total Sports Lottery sales, followed by Instant Scratch Cards of about 21.52%, and Single Match Game of about 23.49%.

a. Sports Lotto

For November 2011, Sports Lotto sales is approximately RMB 5.43 billion, up 57% YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, Sports Lotto sales increased by 33% YOY to approximately RMB 46.29 billion.

b. Sports Instant Scratch Cards

For November 2011, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 1.72 billion, up 15 % YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were RMB 18.11 billion, up 23% YOY.

c. Single Match Game

For November 2011, Sports Single Match Game Sales were RMB 2.00 billion, up 7 % YOY.

For Jan to November 2011, Sports Single Match Game Sales were RMB 19.77 billion, up 52% YOY due to nationwide rollout since December 2009.
