For Jan to April 2012, total lottery sales recorded a growth of approximately29% YOY to approximately RMB 83.83 billion YOY (Jan to April 2011: approximately RMB 64.96 billion). Please refer to the attachment for breakdown.

The lottery sales data reveals:

I.    WELFARE LOTTERY

For April 2012, Welfare Lottery accounted for approximately56.64% (approximately RMB 13.35 billion) of total lottery sales for the month, up approximately26% YOY. Lotto games accounted for approximately71.69% of total welfare lottery sales, Instant Scratch Cards of approximately15.58%, and VLT of approximately12.73%.

For Jan to April2012, Welfare Lottery accounted for approximately58.03% (approximately RMB 48.65 billion) of total lottery sales for the period, up 29% YOY. Lotto games accounted for approximately72.01% of total welfare lottery sales, Instant Scratch Cards of approximately14.61%, and VLT of approximately 13.38%.

a. Welfare Lotto

For April 2012, Welfare Lotto sales were approximately RMB 9.57billion, up approximately36% YOY.

For Jan to April2012, Welfare Lotto sales were approximately RMB 35.03billion, up approximately34% YOY.

b. Welfare Instant Scratch Cards

For April 2012, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were approximately RMB 2.08 billion, down approximately4% YOY.

For Jan to April2012, Welfare Instant Scratch Cards sales were approximately RMB 7.11 billion, up approximately8% YOY.

c. Welfare Video Lottery

For April 2012, Welfare VLT sales wereapproximately1.70 billion, up approximately23% YOY.

For Jan to April2012, Welfare VLT sales reachedapproximately RMB 6.51 billion, up approximately28% YOY.

II.  SPORTS LOTTERY

For April 2012, Sports Lottery accounted for approximately43.36% (approximately RMB 10.22 billion) of total lottery sales for the month,up approximately 27% YOY. Lotto games accounted for approximately54.21% of total Sports Lottery sales, Instant Scratch Cards of approximately17.61%, and Single Match Game of approximately28.18%.

For Jan to April2012, Sports Lottery accounted for approximately41.97% (approximately RMB 35.18 billion) of total lottery sales for the period, up approximately29% YOY. Lotto games accounted for approximately57.73% of total Sports Lottery sales, Instant Scratch Cards of approximately17.79%, and Single Match Game of approximately24.48%.

For April 2012, Sports Lotto sales were approximately RMB 5.54 billion, up approximately39% YOY.

For Jan to April2012, Sports Lotto sales were approximately RMB 20.31 billion, up approximately49% YOY.

b. Sports Instant Scratch Cards

For April 2012, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were approximately RMB 1.80 billion, down approximately9% YOY.

For Jan to April2012, Sports Instant Scratch Cards sales were approximately RMB 6.26 billion, down approximately2% YOY.
